It is my desire to convey the knowledge that I have acquired, expand the horizons of subjects yet unstudied, and in the process, share my love of learning with tomorrow’s leaders.  I believe learning is a life long process and I intend to commit myself to constant improvement.  I will work cooperatively with colleagues to provide the most appropriate instructional and classroom adaptations, as well as other educational experiences for students.

     I will strive to be an outstanding educator who creates an exciting, positive learning environment that encourages students to be active participants in their own learning.  I will utilize my excellent motivational skills to promote student motivation and to hold high expectations for achievement.  An outstanding educator values parents as the first teachers of children.  I will promote parent involvement and ongoing communication through newsletters, conferences, and telephone.  The students I teach will experience a variety of learning models that provide challenging, yet appropriate material.   They will be encouraged to strive to their fullest potential.  It is my professional goal to be a “self-esteem teacher, a charismatic adult who truly influences the paths that students follow” (Robert Brooks.)
