About Me

Welcome! Thank you for visiting our website. I value parents and guardians as the first educators of children. I believe that it is vital to a child's education to keep an ongoing and positive relationship between school and home. I have created this website in hopes of accomplishing this.

I would like to introduce myself. I graduated high school from a small school district near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I was born and raised. I attended the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in 2001 with a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. After graduation, I continued on at the University in the Master of Arts in Teaching program. I graduated in 2002 with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I consider myself to be a life long learner. I plan to further enhance my ability to teach with continuing education.

After teaching one year of first grade and one year substituting in Pennsylvania, I moved to beautiful Naples, Florida. I taught Kindergarten for three years in the Collier County Public School system. Although I loved teaching in Florida, I soon discovered that I missed my family and I decided to move back to Pittsburgh. This is my first year teaching Pre-Kindergarten and I am thrilled to be a Tiger!

The children of my classroom are my number one priority. If you have any comments or concerns, please feel free to email me. Thank you for being my partner in your child's education. Together we can make a difference!

Sincerely,
